Australian Collection Busy Bee
The busy bee will be directed by the Curator of the Australian Collection, Laurent Marsol. This will be a great opportunity for Laurent to meet you, if he hasn't already had that opportunity.
Here is the list of tasks we would like to accomplish at the busy bee.

  • Tidy-up entrance - cutting and removal of coarse woody debris
  • Weeding in entrance precinct
  • Bridal creeper control
  • Control of acacia seedlings
  • Maintenance of Geographe Landcare and Euc. relicta plantings
Our morning tea in Australian Collection picnic shelter at 11.00am
Please bring tools if you have them and suitable PPE.

Guided Walk
The guided walk along the Oak Walk Track will not only celebrate
points of interest about the trees on route but also describe the
historical changes in landscape that have led to this much loved
community driven park becoming such a special place.
In association with Festival Of Country Gardens. Cost: $8.00

A Ticketed Event as part of the Balingup Small Farm Field Day
experience.
Come along on a guided walk in the World Collection of the largest
arboretum in WA with hosts Chrissy Sharp & Andrew Thamo. Between them they have a wealth of knowledge about trees which they
would love to share with walkers. Meet at the carpark in the World Collection. Just outside Balingup townsite, the Park is well sign-posted
and easy to find. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended.
Tickets, $5 single $15 family, available now through the Small Farm
Field Day website.
