Conservation students descended into GVTP Balingup"

The partnership with South Regional TAFE and Parks and Wildlife
Services DBCA also brings a new education and training capability to
the first group of South Regional TAFE Horticulture and Conservation students.

Inspiring speaker Professor Lyn Beazley delivered a free public talk on the history of this region and challenges & opportunities that lie ahead particularly with climate change.

Festival of Country Gardens, this year's autumn walk will include
the Tree Park's stunning deciduous conifers.

April busy bee. 'Wheelbarrow Army'. A big thanks to all the volunteer "wheelbarrow army" who enlisted at the regular Busy Bee to help
spread the massive piles of mulch. What a great response and effort.

Farm Field Day's "Farm to Plate" event.

Top Volunteer Award For Golden Valley Tree Park Founders
Balingup locals, Dr Chrissy Sharp and Andrew Thamo, were
recognised by Parks and Wildlife Services for their near 40 years of volunteering, service and commitment to Golden Valley Tree Park.
Andrew & Chrissy were jointly awarded the "Top Volunteer of the Year" Award.
